Emily Wright on Iridescence

This season’s Iridescence collection was captured in Mparntwe / Alice Springs on Arrernte Country, where vast skies and shifting light became the backdrop to our story. Photographed by Stephanie Cammarano at the Clay Pans, the collection reflects a spirit of travel, ease, and beauty in the everyday. Emily shares moments from the trip, full moons over the MacDonnell Ranges, her philosophy on packing lightly, and the Nancybird bags she never leaves behind.

THE STORY

Creating wares for our community, sharing our mutual love of natural materials, Australian artists and the skills of the craftspeople that bring our collections to life.

Nancybird is based on the banks of the Merri Creek, on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, whom we acknowledge as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, recognising their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples today and every day.
