Hiya, just a little note to let you know that we have received the final drop of winter stock here at nancybird…
We have most things in stock at the moment, but some items are getting quite low.
We always sell out super fast of the most popular things, so if you’ve got your heart set on a particular piece don’t delay…

The new collection features some gorgeous new styles that we can’t wait to show you!
We were looking a lots of African and Weiner Werkstatte prints while designing this range and this has inspired the colourings and feel of the collection. Everything has been custom made as we usually do at nancybird – the hand printed fabrics, the lining, all leathers. All the dust bags are now made from the same fabric as the lining material, so if you purchase a bag or wallet you’ll also receive a matching drawstring printed cotton bag. Handy. There’s lots of new colours and styles – have a look through the shop and gallery sections to view the range.
Everything will be available online and in stores from the week of the 9th February onwards…
A couple of new features in the online shop are a zoom function, so you can look right up to the grain of the leather or print detail, and a bit of reconfiguring things to make the website a little more user friendly.
We hope you find inspiration, delight and/or a new bag in this collection!

All internet and wholesale orders taken from the 24th-5th january will not be shipped until the 6th January.

We’ve just received in new SS09 and Classic range stock, which is now available again here and will be in stores very soon!
If you’ve been wondering why we are out of stock of quite a few items when it’s the start of the season, here’s why…
The response we’ve received already has been overwhelming, and we have sold out of lots of styles! We are getting more stock made as we speak, so there will be more of everything in early October.
Check you local stockist (on our stockist page) – there is a very good chance they will have what you’re after right now!
So we’re off for a little break after designing and printing fabrics for next winter’s range (it looks amazing!), and will be back at the end of September, just in time to get the new stock out to all the stores, and to you, if you’ve pre-ordered anything!

We are constantly looking at the way we produce the nancybird range to see if there is a better, lower impact way of doing things.
This is an ongoing process, but so far we have implemented these changes:
-nancybird headquarters uses 100% wind power
-we endeavour to only use sea freight for delivery of our bulk stock- this is the most fuel efficient form of freight.
-we have flat packed all our bags- usually bags are delivered stuffed full of paper- we now have almost no paper wastage in our deliveries, and the reduced bulk also means less fuel used in shipping and delivery.
-we recycle and reuse all paper, boxes and plastic at nancybird hq.
- we only use water based inks for all our hand printed fabrics- this is a less toxic form of printing, compared to oil based inks and some pigments.
-we try to use all natural fabrics- cotton, linen and jute.
-our leathers are either aniline or vegetable tanned- both are lower impact forms of tanning.
The nature of our products and materials does mean that there will be some form of environmental impact, but we would like to try to reduce this as much as possible.
